Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave is a revolutionary regenerative therapeutic technology that uses a high energy discharge to promote cellular repair of tendons, bones, and other soft tissues. This discharge initiates communication with and among cells, activating an intrinsic repair program within the tissue. This communication leads to the shedding of micro–vesicles from cell membranes, which contain nucleic acids, proteins, and other molecules that activate neighboring cells and initiate intrinsic healing and repair mechanisms.

Electro-Muscle Stimulation (EMS
- Relax Your Muscles: Electrical stimulation encourages rapid contraction and relaxation of tight, hypertonic muscles, particularly those that are stiff or in spasm around the spine.
- Relieve Pain: E-stim can be used to specifically target sensory nerves to interrupt or block pain signals from reaching the brain. It also promotes the release of the body’s natural painkillers providing relief of pain associated with musculoskeletal issues.
- Reduce Inflammation & Promote Healing: The involuntary muscle contractions help increase blood flow and circulation to the injured or inflamed area. This increased circulation flushes out metabolic waste and delivers oxygen and nutrients to the soft tissues, speeding up the natural healing and recovery process.
Intersegmental Traction (IST)
IST or “roller table” therapy, is a gentle, passive treatment used in chiropractic care to mobilize the spine and loosen the surrounding muscles.
Patients simply lie back on a specialized table while internal rollers slowly and rhythmically move up and down the length of the spine. Just think of it as a massage table that does all the work on its own. Not only does it feel great, it also:
- Mobilizes the Spine: The rolling motion gently stretches the spinal joints, helping to re-establish the normal range of motion and flexibility in each segment of the spine.
- Relaxes Muscles: The rhythmic, massage-like action helps to relax tight muscles and ligaments along the back, which reduces painful muscle spasms and guards the patient may be experiencing. This relaxation makes the manual chiropractic adjustment more effective.
- Rehydrates Discs and Improves Circulation: By introducing movement, IST helps to enhance blood flow and the circulation of fluids to the spinal discs. Since discs lack their own direct blood supply, this movement is crucial for supplying essential nutrients and oxygen, aiding in disc health and healing.
